Medicare

How Medicare actually works.

A licensed advisor will walk you through it. Or read the plain-English version below.

Original Medicare is the federal health coverage for people 65+ and certain people under 65 with disabilities. It has Part A (hospital) and Part B (medical). Most people add Part D for prescriptions and either a Medicare Supplement or Medicare Advantage plan to cover costs Original Medicare does not. The right combination depends on your doctors, prescriptions, budget, and where you live.
